Spotted - Choo Choo Bear eating some poor lady's head (picture altered to protect the victim).
This hat is made of Caron Bliss, a very filmy bulky yarn, which made for a very floppy hat with little structure, much like the character it is emulating.
I made the eyes and ears a little further apart, mostly because I was too lazy to move them once I attached them (except for the first time when I attached the ears sideways - oops).
The project was more fun than I was expecting near the end, though I still don't regret putting it aside for most of a year because I just couldn't deal with the feeling of the yarn on my hands. Sometimes soft is a bad thing.
I need to add these pictures (both this hat and the scarf for my MIL are waiting) to Flickr / Ravelry, then I can call them both done and work my way through the Swiss Cheese Scarf and swatching for the Dress. Yum!
