I'm never really comfortable with the term stalker (blog stalking, even for the purpose of Sockapalooza makes me feel a little odd). There are overtones that never quite go away even though we are mostly harmless individuals who just have an obsession with love to like to knit socks. Beautiful socks, wonderful socks, socks that weren't purchased at Target or WalMart or KMart (or any place that sells large packages of socks for not quite so much money).
That doesn't stop me from being ecstatic that my sock pal (the one I'm knitting for) has posted for an unrelated swap some information about her preferences. It is good having a better idea of sock preference (bright and wool cover an awful lot of territory after all), so I can make a better quality sock product.
Sock product. Gosh, I've been working in Corporate America for far too long if I'm calling this sock product.
Now I know what colors she likes and some other preferences if I want to give her a little bit more to go into the package (I don't honestly remember what I gave to Blue Garter last year other than socks, but I definitely remember receiving a cute little box from my sock pal with a skein of yarn and pretty socks and a little box). I love giving nifty packages and have a couple of non-knitting items for my pal already!
