My husband has been playing Trauma Center: Second Opinion over the past few days. It has all the silly (and snarking opportunities aplenty) things that a geek could love. He's not writing the review for Netjak, so we have been enjoying more than our fair share of giggles.
Now, this game has nothing to do with knitting or crafting in general, but it does have a fair amount to do with stitches, sutures... sewing for doctors (or wanna be doctors). There is a magic 'healing touch' power, that we've taken to calling "ドクタースターポワーマイクウプ!" a la Sailor Moon (think Mercury Star Power and you've got a pretty good idea). But really, the problem with the game is the sutures. You are supposed to zigzag your way across lacerations and your surgical incisions with equal finess.
Umm, or lack thereof. My husband is banned from ever trying (or even pretending to try) to sew me up even if my life is on the line. Heck, the game considered some of his best sutures the ones where he sewed the skin to the internal organs! Eww!
