I printed the errata for EBTKS, so I could continue my adventures in sweater land. Soon, I will go to the local Michaels and get another set of dpns for the sleeves, and truck along with the sweater.
I'm never good at posting progress pictures. Unless something looks absolutely amazing in the unfinished, unwearable state, then I don't give it a second thought. I'm about halfway done the raglan decreases for the back (which is to say I have about 20 rows or so left to go before I switch to the front), but I am wasting a lot of thinking cycles wondering if I have enough light colored yarn. It is possible that the sleeves will be almost completely different from the body, because the only colors I can guarantee will remain constant and available are black and a couple of random blues that are so thin that I am only using them two rows at a time.
So, visualize this: a pile of sweater (someone asked me if it was a hat on Monday) that alternates with bands of dark colors (about 10-12 rows) and bands of light colors (about 6-9 rows) with a predominance of blues and black. See the spark of the Crystal FX that didn't get completely used up in my first scarf set in 2004/2005. See the random kind of shiny acryllic that no one wants to admit to having. See the Cotton Comfort, which I decided I didn't like when I made my first Turtleneck Shrug. See that I really need to do a second copy of this sweater in the extra large sizing using sockweight yarns, because I have way more leftovers of those.
Maybe I'll start that in a couple of weeks (great for all of my random single skeins of DK weight and lighter).
