Knitting is a luxury. A task, hobby, done when there is free time and a moment to relax and just take it all in. Now that I am taking a class and training for the half marathon, I find that there is little time for knitting. Every moment I take is a moment stolen from something important.
Too busy to be homesick, Faris found that diversion and scholarship sorted well together. There was nothing so entertaining as the amusements that beckoned when she had something extremely pressing to do in the way of scholarship. - A College of Magics, Caroline Stevermer
Despite the pressures on my time, I am knitting more. Knitting from the stash, though not knitting on the items listed in the sidebar. The class has spring break on the 3rd or 4th week of March, and I will be diverting myself for a day at the Fashion Institute. I've gotten my time off and just need to buy my train ticket. I will be a knitter on the prowl, and I will have hopefully knit enough items to buy a skein or two of something absolutely fabulous.
First, I need to finish three pairs of socks (not pictured, because I'm too lazy to get out the camera), EBTKS, and oh, my February/March Stashalong goals.
