This is the outside of the box. I used rub and buff in an antique gold color to cover the cardboard and some 3-D tube paint for the lettering. The pink and gold bands are cut from some origami paper.
It was a quickie job truly, but I wanted something better than just wrapping the socks in tissue paper (probably because my pal last year was awfully extravagent).
