Today's writing prompt:
Today is the day when you and all of the other members of the Polar Bear Club take a dive into the great blue that is the Atlantic Ocean. But wait, there are reports of a giant lobster reaching up and eating swimmers. It must be getting hungry as most of the normal swimmers departed months ago! What will you do to have your fun and keep from being eaten too?
I love my hair dresser. Emily crochets and is into interesting bands and is great fun to talk to. Better yet, she understands my need to play with my hair yet keep it subdued enough for a corporate workplace. Gone are the days when I was working in the tech industry and no one batted an eyelash about my bright pink bangs, but with Emily's help I can have fun with color and fun with shape.
Today I had a hair appointment, so I had fun. I am colorful and will probably have bleed out tomorrow when I run on the treadmill. Yup, the biggest problem with unnaturally red hair is that I leak bloody looking streaks from my forehead when I run for the first day or two. Thank goodness for dark towels!
It is Victor walking time, so I can make dinner before my lovely hubby is released from work. Pumpkin apple soup and salad - light food to prep for the foodgasm that is Thanksgiving!
