Tuesday night was cue to cue, and I finished a rollicking load of scarves (just one to go and some fringe). I'm now mostly free to knit or crochet on my own projects or twiddle my thumbs during the remaining rehearsals and shows. After motoring through the idea of twiddling my thumbs is surprisingly joyful. Especially, because cue-to-cue didn't get out until about midnight. I wasn't home and in bed until 1 a.m., and I'm sure I'm not the worst in the bunch for the commute home.
At least I got a lot of knitting done, and after today I will be able to knit on my own stuff again. Like Delphine, which I started on April 20th. I'm almost to the next big set of instructions, which will probably be a sign that it is photo time. We'll see which way it goes. I'm using this wonderfully affordable misti alpaca dk pima silk and only needed two skeins for the sweater. I'd say it is nice to be small, but really it is just nice to be knitting something lacy and airy. Makes the yarn go further, right?
